Black Bear Cove Cabin was very nice. Cozy, relaxing, peaceful. Hot tub was awesome with the added bonus of large towels. Couch with recliners on each end was very comfortable. Plenty of storage space in kitchen and bedroom. Kitchen was nicely stocked with cookware, dishwasher, toaster, blender, mixer, Keurig coffee pot and cup maker, and utensils. However, there was only 1 dishtowel and dishcloth which we had to launder a few times. No liquid dish soap for cleaning dishes between running the dishwasher and to clean the stove top etc. There were plenty of plates and cups and glasses but only 2 cereal/soup bowls. We cook a lot of our meals so we were continuously washing bowls for re-use. Full size washer and dryer were very nice. We were very excited to see a bear welcome us home after a morning drive one day! Overall, we loved our stay at this cabin.Diane Buzard Bracken – 05/17/2024

Romantic Couples Vacation Very good experience Peyton provided great communication throughout the stay Everything needed is available when you arrive. Place was spotless Some reviews mention the road to the cabin. You will need at least a full size car. Mountain roads are narrow and can be scary to navigate if you are not familiar with them. Make sure you navigate the road during the daytime first Keep an eye on the weather during the winter. Snow âï¸ and Ice could force the road to close Wireless works well and cellular reception is good Has a jacuzzi and hot tub. Both are very relaxing. Very clean ð¥ Fireplace just adds to the ambiance. Heat works well keeps the place as warm or cold as you want. We did not use air since it was winter You can hear some traffic from 441 during the daytime but at night all you hear is the creek several hundred feet below. Cabin is very private. Enjoyable week away! We enjoyed the cabin; it was very cozy and had everything we needed. There was one hiccup waking up to no water one morning, but the owners were quick to respond and had it resolved that day! Perfect Anniversary Getaway My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin immensely. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary equipment and made preparing food easy. The hot tub and rain shower were excellent. My only word of caution is that the mattress is quite firm and if you prefer a softer mattress then you will need to bring a pillow top or foam mattress cover. So in Love with this cozy cabin for two! This cabin was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon! Everything we needed was provided in the cabin and there were some extras that made it even more special!
